Halliday & Company provides a variety of accounting, business, tax and consulting services. These services can be as extensive or as limited as you request. Listed below are some services that we can provide:
• Initial Financial statement preparation.
• Consultation and assistance of which type of business entity is right for you along with required tax and license filings.
• Bookkeeping services. Monthly or quarterly close-out of your books with updated financial statements.
• Computer accounting support and processing. We use and support CYMA software.
• Payroll services. Preparation of checks and deposits of Federal and State tax withholdings. Filing of Federal and State tax forms.
• Annual business and personal tax returns along with planning strategies to reduce your tax liability presently and in the future. Including but not limited to individuals, partnerships, limited liability companies, limited liability partnerships, c-corporations, s-corporations, and trust returns.
• Required reviews by creditors, State agencies or others.
Brent K. Halliday is the majority shareholder in Halliday & Company and has been practicing public accountancy since 1985. He originally started with KPMG Peat Marwick in Salt Lake City and worked with a variety of businesses providing consulting services. After five years with KPMG Peat Marwick, Brent opted to become an owner of his own practice. Brent graduated from the University of Utah cum laude and is a certified and licensed CPA in the State of Utah.
